THE GETTYSBURG TIMES, MONDAY, AUGUST 20, 1984 13 AFL-CIO endorses Mondale-Ferraro By CARL MILLIARD Associated Press Writer DENVER A i AFL-CIO President Lane Kirkland blasting President Reagan economic policies for bringing great injury to workers told the federation general board Sunday that Walter Mondale has earned labor endorsement for president Kirkland remarks were made just before the Democratic presidential candidate was to appear at the start of a four day meeting of AFL CIO leaders Kirkland said the nation should have heeded labor warnings that Ronald Reagan policies would bring great injury to millions of American workers and their families said Ronald Reagan would deal with inflation by throwing people out of work He promised he would not He gave us the most massive
