HUNTINGTON, Thomas "Tommy" Thomas "Tommy" Huntington passed away in Calgary on June 10, 1998 at the age of 94 years.

He Is the loving father of Pat (Michael) Schneider of Edmonton and daughter-in-law, Doreen Huntington of Edmonton. He was predeceased by his wife, Nan and his son, Frank. Tom is also survived by four qrandsons, Marc and Craig Schneider, Guy and Brad Huntington and nine great grandchildren. Tommy worked for many year for the CPR in Ogden, Central Del Rio Oil and Pan Canadian Petroleum, but he was always an army man at heart. He served overseas with the Loyal Edmonton Regiment and the Royal Canadian Engineers.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Calgary Crematorium Chapel, 3219-4 Street N.W. MOY, Master Moy Lln-shln Master Moy Lin-shin, founder of the International Taoist Tai Chi Society, passed away in Toronto on June 6, 1998, following a brief illness. Born on February 27, 1931 in Toisan (Taishan) 1 county, Canton i (Guandona). China. Mr. (Guandong), China, Mr.

Moy suffered from serious childhood ill- ess. His health im proved throuqh the practice of Taoist healing arts. As a Taoist monk, he committed his life to helping people regain their health through these arts, especially Taoist Tai Chi. During the Chinese revolution he moved to Hong Kong where he helped establish temples. He moved to Canada in 1970 and founded the Taoist Tai Chi Society, to promote health in the community through the practice and instruction of Taoist Tai Chi.

He also founded the Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism and the Gei Pang Lok Hup Academy to promote understanding of the Taoist arts. His students have carried these organisations into hundreds of communities in 23 countries to date. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Moy visited Alberta many times. Taoist Tai Chi was taught in Calgary in 1 979, then Edmonton, and eventually Camrose, Canmore, Fairview, Hobbema, Red Deer, Grande Prairie, Jasper, Regina, Sherwood Park, Wetaskiwin and Yellowknife.

He took personal interest in each of the hundreds of clubs that grew through the Society and constantly encouraged his students to develop virtue, compassion and helpfulness. Mr. Moy gave his life to sharing and helping others. Although he has gone on, his wisdom, guidance and example are still with us. Services were held on June 7th and will be held July 26th at Fung Loy Kok temples in Calgary and Edmonton and around the world.

His ashes were laid to rest in the columbarium at the Taoist Tai Chi Centre in Orangeville, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, he has asked that donations be made to the Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism. 046515 MOYSIUK, Mary On June 10, 1998, Mrs. Mary Moysiuk of Vegreville passed away at the age of 92 years. TOOKE (nee Bruce), Agnes Isobel Agnes Isobel Tooke died peacefully at the Bethany Care Center in Cochrane, Alberta on June 7, 1 998 in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband, Harold and son, Glenn, she leaves to mourn her elder son, Earle of Ottawa. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Kathryn (Laurie) of Ottawa, Kenneth Tooke of Westmount, Quebec, Kim (West) of Ottawa as well as Robert and Tamara Tooke of Banff, Alberta. WALDEC, Ladislav On June 10, 1998, Mr. Ladislav Waldec of Edmonton, passed away at the age of 74 years at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Edmonton. Ladislav immigrated to Canada in 1952, where he worked as a carpenter, cement finisher and a brick layer. He enjoyed his work very much.

Ladislav worked right up to the time of his passing. He is survived by his cousin, Steve Waldec of Edmonton; three brothers and two sisters in Croatia, and many friends. Joseph was bom on November 2, 1903 in Tamopol, Poland.

He immigrated to Canada in 1928. He settled In Alberta and worked for the N.A.R. In 1942, he served in the Canadian Army in the U.K., N.W. Europe with the 8th Canadian Infantry Brigade R.C.A.S.C. After demobilization, Joseph settled on a farm In Kinuso, Alberta.

He retired from farming In 1968 and moved to Edmonton where he joined the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires. Joseph served with them for the next 15 years. He retired in 1984. In March of 1994, Joseph moved to Calgary to live with his daughter Rosalia. He passed away at the George Boyack Home In Calgary.

He Is survived by Rosalia Robinson, her sons, Aaron Alan, Mark Joseph; great-granddaughter, Sunny Amulet. Florence Bittman, her children, Kim Bruens, Dean Bittman, Darta Bittman and their children. Dexter was with the Alberta Forest Service for 25 years in many locations of the Province, and spent the balance of his working career with Weldwood at Hinton.

Dexter was very active in the Scouting movement for 29 years, and was also heavily involved in many fraternal organizations, service clubs, and community groups.
