Vern Klingman officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Carlat, 3431 Timberline Drive, and his parents are Mr. and Mrs.

and Mrs. Howard Patterson, 109 Lexington, and he is a son of Mr. and Mrs. David Tatum, Chesapeake, Va. The newlyweds reside in Augsburg, Germany, where they are serving in the U.S.
