Evening Sun Wednesday, March 14, 1973 York-Adams Area Deaths Mabel White Mabel R. White, 72, 701 McAllister died at Hanover General Hospital Monday at 10:15 p.m. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Yingling.

She is survived by cousins. She worked at Hanover Wire Cloth lor 23 years. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Wetzel Funeral Home, with Rev. Thomas McKee officiating.

Burial will be in the Manchester Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening at the funeral home. Franeis Sanders Francis L. Sanders, 62, of 857 York died Tuesday at 12:30 p.m at Hanover General Hospital where he had been a patient for five days. He was born in Adams County, and he was the son of the late Commodore M.

and Harriet Diehl Sanders. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Lawrence Sanders; one daughter and three sons, Mrs. Carol Gebhart, Linden McSherrystown, David Van Nuys, Gene and Pa trick, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Gross and Mrs. Alma Smith, both of McSherrystown, Mrs.

Idelle Krug, Gettysburg R.D.5, and Mrs. Gladys Meckley, Hanover R.D.4. He was a member of the Annunciation Church, McSherrystown, the McSherrystown Home Association, and the McSherrystown Moose. Funeral services will be held Friday, meeting at the Hicks Funeral Home, McSherrystown, at 8:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at Annunciation Church at 9 a.m.

Rev. Hugh J. McLaughlin will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Rosary will be at 8 p.m. William Hershey William R. Hershey, 68, of York, former owner of the Hershey Orchards, Hanover, died at 1:20 p.m. Monday at York Hospital. He was a native of York City, and was a son of Mrs.

Dilly Spahr Hershey, York, and the late Joel Hershey. Also surviving are two sons, Ronald and James both of York; two granddaughters; a sister, Mrs. Anna Hess, York, and four brothers, Austin, George and David Hershey, all of York, and Joseph Hershey, Mt. Wolf. The Rev.

Harvey M. Light, pastor of West Manheim charge, United Church of Christ, will officiate at funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Robert F. Roller Funeral Home, 2000 West Market York. Burial will be in St.

Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. John Krape John H. Krape, 56, Gettysburg R.D.

5, died Tuesday morning at Hanover General Hospital. He had been in failing health for some time. He was the son of Earnest F. and S. Olis Krape.

A graduate of Palm High School, he moved to Gettysburg in 1952 and began his dairy and poultry farm. Surviving are his parents, Gettysburg R.D, his wife, Clara M. Van Culin Krape; two children, David Gettysburg R.D. 5, and Dorotty Ann, at home; two grandchildren; one brother, Ernest Gettysburg R.D. 5.

She was a daughter of the late William and Alverta Hemler Roth and was a member of St. Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society of the church and the NCCW. Surviving are her husband, a son, James, Los Angeles; three daughters, Mrs. Jean Eckard, 427 South Franklin Mrs. Margaret Spangler, York, and Mrs.

Mary Mummert, Spring Grove R.D.l, and nine grandchildren. The funeral will be held Saturday, meeting at the Panebaker funeral home, Broadway, at 9:30 a.m. for prayers, followed by a mass of the resurrection at 10 at St. Church. Rev.

Robert C. Gribbin will be celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 3 to 9 p.m. and the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.

Mrs. T. M. Rider Mrs. Ruth W.

Rider, 60, Gettysburg R.D.l, died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at Warner Hospital. She was born Gettysburg and was the daughter of the late Ernest G. and Maude Wierman Weaver. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Gettysburg, and was employed by Jewelery Store since 1928.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas M. Rider; five brothers and sisters, Mrs. Pauline Diehl, Charles E. Weaver and Mrs. Katherine Moser, all of Gettysburg.

Paul W. Weaver, Arlington, and Mrs. Barbara Hall, Washington, D.C. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from Monahan funeral home, 125 Carlisle St.

Rev. Lee Lawhead will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Adams County Heart Fund. Mrs. R. W. Rug bee Memorial services for Mrs.

Bruce W. (Jean Bugbee, Gettysburg R.D.3, who died Tuesday at the Harrisburg Hospital will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Prince of Peace Episcopal Church, Gettysburg, with the Rev. Arthur F. McNulty officiating.

Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Prince of Peace Church or to Gettysburg College. Mrs. R. W.

Moser Mrs. Carrie E. Moser, 80, Littlestown R.D. 1 died at Tuesday enroute to Hanover General Hospital. She was the daughter of the late James and Eleanor Stambaugh Forney.

She was a life member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Taneytown, Md. Surviving are her husband, Russell W. Moser, Littlestown R.D. a son and daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Mummert, Westminster, Md.

and R. Paul, Westminster, R.D. two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the Littles Funeral Home, Littlestown, Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev.

In addition to donated books and research materials, the library will offer a collection of books and other materials on loan from the Adams County Public Library. The new community library will be able to process special requests from the county public library just as the Bookmobile does.
