The Edmonton Journal, Wednesday, March 6, 1996 B5 10 Obituaries WARBRUCK, Gunter It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Gunter Warbruck at the age of 62 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Gunter be lovingly remembered by his wife, Margaret; and his daughter, Karen. Also survived by his brother, Herbert; and sister, Liselotte, both from Germany; his father-in-law, Henry Niemann; sisters-in-law, Edith Edda (Bob) Stein, Irmie (George) Farrah, and (Bill) Sorochan; brother-in-law, Karl (Bernice) Niemann; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth and Henry Warbruck Germany. special thank you to family, friends, and co-workers at the Eastgate Plant of the Edmonton Journal for their kind support.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 1996 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 10759 96 Street, Edmonton. Cremation has taken place at the Park, Memorial Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully appreciated by the Canadian Cancer Society, 11842 111 Avenue, Edmonton T5G 9Z9.

(Dick) Tuesday, March 5th, 1996, brought the sad passing after a lengthy illness, of Richard. F. (Dick) Staples of Westlock. has peacefully to join Alice and Shirley. Dick was a wonderful, caring and respected man in all avenues of life husband, father, grandfather, educator and friend.

He leaves, with a great sadness and a tremendous sense of loss, his loving family, Betty, Fred, Kevin, Leslie, Richard, Jill, Dan, Zachary, and Tyler; Dick, Jean, Jason, Sheri, Zoltan, and Jordan; Lynne, Harley, Bob, Chrystale and Brad. He was predeceased by his wife Alice and his daughter Shirley. We want to thank, with great sincerity, the entire staff of the Westlock Long Term Care Centre, who helped with all their love, thoughtfulness and caring, to make Dad's and "Gramps" last six years the best it could be.
