150 CANA-OIAN. NON SMOKERS. 434-5571 Keith Manning dies in hospital Keith Manning, elder son of former premier Ernest Manning, died Sunday in hospital in Edmonton following an illness. Manning, 47, died just before 2 p.m. in University Hospital from a cardiac arrest, his mother, Muriel, said Sunday from her home in Edmonton.

Her son had been in hospital for about two weeks undergoing tests, she said. "He was out at the Expo and having a good time. This just developed since he came back," she said. The senior Mannings were on their way to the hospital to visit him when he died, said Orvis Kennedy, former president and executive director of the Social Credit Party. He said Manning was not directly involved in the party, except through his father.

"He hasn't been well for some years," Kennedy said. Manning leaves a wife, Marilyn. He also leaves a brother, Preston. Tornado damage in southern Alta. STIRLING A storage shed was destroyed, a Clydesdale horse was hurled against a fence and shingles flew off houses when a tornado touched down Sunday in this town 30 km south of Lethbridge.

No injuries were reported, Lethbridge RCMP said. "The horse is all right but a little shaken," said Bob McCallum, the owner of the animal. McCallum was in nearby Raymond when the twister struck at about 11:15 a.m. But his daughter Tricia, 11, heard fierce winds and "then a boom" and saw the havoc wreaked as the twister ripped across her father's field. Westlock man missing Westlock RCMP are asking for public help in finding a 32-year-old man who went missing there Wednesday.

Claude Liberge of Westlock left home without money and hasn't been seen since. He is six-feet-one, 155 pounds, with brown hair. He has a moustache. Liberge wore glasses. He had on blue jeans, a T-shirt and a grey windbreaker.

ROSS, Dorothy On Thursday, June 26, 1986, Mrs. Dorothy Ross of Edmonton passed away at the age of 63 years. On Friday, June 27, 1986 Edwin P. Pearson of Edmonton passed away. He is survived by his loving wife Alice; one son Douglas and his wife Lynne of Edmonton; one daughter Arlene Showers of Vancouver, B.C.; four grandchildren: Bradley, Craig, Kevin, Shannon; one sister; one sister-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews all of Sweden. Mr. Pearson was a former contractor in Edmonton on the south-side.

She is survived by her loving family: three daughters Jodi-Lynn; Tracey; Trudy; three sons: Troy; Trent, all of Edmonton; Trevor of Vancouver, two grandchildren and her father, Joe Calhoon of Regina, Saskatchewan.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 1986 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. John's Protestant Chapel, C.F.B. Edmonton, Griesbach (142 Avenue and 102 Street) Padre Roy White officiating. If friends and relatives so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (812 1 0136 100 Street, Edmonton) or to the Canadian Cancer Society (11810 Kingsway Avenue, Edmonton).
