MO-KAN PARTY LINE Heads Brown County CAP James Brown, Mercler, was elected president of the Brown county Community Action program at the annual meeting held last night at the Methodist church In Itorton. Rev. Klrby Hayes was chosen vice president and Mrs. Melissa Spellmeler secretary. Fifteen persons were named to the board of directors andfive delegates to the Northeast Kansas Community Action Program were picked.

Twenty six persons attended the meeting. The annual six-county NEK- CAP meeting and election of officers will be held tonight at Morton's City Hall. Nolte Rites At Kelly Anton Nolte, 76, Kelly, died Sunday night at a Seneca hos pital. He was a brother of Sister Consulate at Mount St. Scholastica convent.

Burial will beintheDen- 4 ATCHISDN GLOBE Tuesday, September 26, 1967 Grand Jury Returns 36 Indictments TOPEKA (AP) Dr. Joseph Baker, a La Crosse, physician was indicted by a federal grand jury Monday on cliarges of illegal sale of stimulant or depressant drugs, The indictment named Dr.

Baker on 13 counts of illegal sale of such drugs as secobarbi- tal sodium capsules, phenobar- bitiial, amobartbital, mehaphe- tamine hydrochloride. The indictment ctarged the physician sold the drugs illegally to a federal agent in May and June. One of the counts accused him of failing to keep required records on sale of stimulant and depressant drugs from Feb. 1, 1966 to Aug. 2, 1367.

The grand jury also indicted William R. Willis of Chanute, for failure to file income tax returns for the years 1961 through 1964. It charged Willis had income totaling during the four-year period. In all, the grand jury returned 36 indictments. The jury is expected to continue delibera- car contained four mink coats.
