EARLY EVENING WEDNESDAY November IB, 1875 Highlights CBS tony Orlando and Dawn (6) 7 p.m. (9) 9 p.m. Freddie Prinze and Adrienne Barbeau, two of the popular people of two popular series, are guests. Tony and Freddie, in the main skit, play a pair of entertainers, a la Bing and Bob, who take "The Road to Puerto Rico." Adrienne, who used to be a Broadway go-go dancer, is featured in "If They Could See Me Now." CBS (SPECIAL) (6) 9 p.m. (9) 11 p.m.

From "Warmth Productions" comes a pilot show for "Mr. Warmth" himself, Don Rickles. Jack Klugman, Dona Adams, Michele Lee, James Caan, Elliot Gould, Arthur Godfrey, Jose Ferrer, Otto Preminger, Loretta Swit and Larry Linville, plus millions of Rickles fans, are hopeful that this is it: the kind of show that will get Don into a regular series. It is an ambitious project designed to show the multitalented little Jewish guy trying to make a buck in entertainment. Don does his usual standup bit (at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas), but then he, and his guests above, go into fantasy things like Don Rickles in hell und then heaven.

Don also sings and dances and will surprise you in a straight dramatic bit. Paso?
