28 Republican, Wedrtesday, Feb. 19 Patrol girl of month Susie Giddings, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Durwood Giddings of Humboldt, and a member of the Taft School "safety patrol, has been as the outstanding patrol girl for the month of January. The Patrol Lieutenants selected Susie as the member they felt best exemplifies the type of leadership, attention to duty and alertness expected of patrol members.

As one of her honors, Susie will wear a gold badge on. her patrol belt during the month. Her name will also be inscribed on the Gold Badge of the Month Award Banner which is displayed at Taft. Baptize Bormann infant and Liturgical Year. Father Tigges spoke on the Sacrament of Baptism.
