Lindsay Wagner, Anthony Hopkins 1 WfcJ f- I j- musical variety series on television, and a second Emmy in 1975 for Danny Kaye's Look-in At The Metropolitan Opera. Cicely Tyson will star in Welcome To Success: The Marva Collins Story, which is in production in Chicago. She is cast in the role of Marva Collins, a black Chicago teacher who, when she became disillusioned with the traditional school system, created her own school in the inner city. The drama is based on fact.

Cicely Tyson won an unprecedented two Emmy Awards for her title role in The Autobiography Of Miss Jane Pittman. She starred in the mini-series Roots, and King, and recently in A Woman Called Moses. Her feature film credits include Sounder, The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter, and A Man Called Adam. The Throwdown, a telefilm which is being produced in Los Angeles is based on an actual shooting of a teenage boy by Houston police officers. Hal Holbrook is the star.

Holbrook has won four Emmys. In 1971, he won an Emmy for the series The Senator. In 1974, he won two Emmys for Pueblo, and another award in 1975 for the series Sandburg's Lincoln in which he portrayed Abraham Lincoln. His numerous feature films include The Group, The Great White Hope, and All The President's Men. Ben Gazzara Emmy for her appearance in an episode of the series The Incredible Hulk, is very visible in camera commercials with James Garner.

Susan Clark Graham. Miss Beller recently -completed the feature film Promises In The Dark in which she has a starring role. Miss Hartley, who won an and Herbert Lorn is Barnabas. Peter And Paul begins with the Crucifixion, and follows the saga of the two totally different men as they fight to keep the Christian faith alive. The drama encompasses three decades and concludes with the beheading of Paul and the crucifixion of Peter in Rome in approximately A.D.

64. Anthony Hopkins recently completed The Bunker which will appear on CBS-TV early in the new year. His feature films include The Lion In Winter, A Bridge Too Far, and Magic. His television specials include QB VII, Dark Victory, and Kean. He won an Emmy for The Lindbergh Kidnapping Case.

Danny Kaye, John Rubinstein, Carl Reiner and Eli Wallach are the stars of Skokie, a two-and-a-half-hour drama that depicts the reactions of the citizens of Skokie, 111., when neo-Nazis announce their intention to demonstrate in the Chicago suburb. Danny Kaye portrays Max Feldman, a concentration camp survivor, who is the vocal opponent of the planned parade and the catalyst for the uproar that l. 1 Lindsay Wagner, Hal Holbrook, Mickey Roo-ney, Anthony Hopkins, Susan Clark, and Ben Gazzara are some of the stars who will be appearing in telefilms and specials on the CBS network during the coming season. All productions have begun and will be scheduled during 1981. More immediately, Karl Maiden, who won an Academy Award for his role in A Streetcar Named Desire, and starred in the series, Streets Of San Francisco, will star in Word Of Honor on January 6.

In the two-hour drama, Maiden is a veteran newspaperman who refuses to reveal the source of his information in a murder case involving a prominent citizen. In future listings, Lindsay Wagner, who starred in the mini-series Scruples, and won an Emmy for her continuing role in the series The Bionic Woman, will have the principal role in Callie And Son. Miss Wagner is cast as a poor girl who gives up her illegitimate son at birth. She recovers her fortunes and her son when she marries a millionaire, and climbs upward to be the boss of a publishing empire in Texas. The drama is woven around news events from the Eisenhower presidency to the assassination of John F.

Kennedy, and Miss Wagner ages In a dramatic special titled Whose Brother, Whose Keeper, Mickey Rooney stars as Bill Sackter, a mentally retarded adult who has spent 46 years in a mental institution, and decides to venture into the world outside. Dennis Quaid and Largo Woodruff are cast as the couple who support Sackter in his terrifying adventure. Mickey Rooney, who was born Joe Yule in 1920, first achieved stardom in 1937 as Andy Hardy in A Family Affair. He subsequently appeared in 15 Andy Hardy films and, in 1939, was awarded a special Oscar for his characterizations in those films. He costarred with Judy Garland in ten films and has been nominated several times for Oscars, the most recent of which was for his role in The Black Stallion.

Anthony Hopkins and Robert Foxsworth are the stars of a four-hour, two-part drama titled Peter And Paul, which is in production in Greece. Hopkins is cast as Paul of Tarsus, Apostle to the Gentiles, and Foxsworth plays the role of Peter, the rock of the Christian church. Raymond Burr is Agrippa Jose Ferrer is Gamaliel, John Finch is Luke, O'Flohcrty Creoles Red-life Drama Hal Holbrook The Choice, a drama about a mother and daughter who must make a decision about legally terminating pregnancies. Susan Clark is the mother. Largo Woodruff is the daughter, and Jennifer Warren is a family friend.

Ben Gazzara is the star of A Man Of Honor, which is in production in New York City. Paul Sorvino, Robert Vaughn, Tony Roberts and Danny Aiello have feature roles in the drama about the death of a policeman. A Man Of Honor is based on the book Point Blank and was adapted for television by Academy Award-winner Budd Schulberg. No Place To Hide is a psychological thriller in production in Los Angeles. The costars are Mariette Hartley, Kathleen Beller, and Gary Wendy O'Flaherty, executive producer of the series Fortunes, will produce a one-hour drama scheduled for telecast next fall.

The unnamed drama will focus on a factory shutdown in a small town and its affects on the lives of the owner and a young union activist. "This is a draia, but it is close to the bone of real life," Ms. Flaherty says. "I think we're going to see a lot of closings in the next few years. With energy shortages and economic problems, we'll all io ensues.
