E2 EDMONTON JOURNAL, Monday, December 21, 1981 Announcements Trailer park tenants get eviction break Deaths resolution which called in part for a 30-day removal clause on mobile homes in the lower townsite area. Ralph's Trailer Park, which is on a 30-day notice from the city, is in the lower townsite area. Mr. Denyes says the moratorium may mean long-term benefits to the park owner because of its strategic location, adjacent to Keyano College and the Fort McMurray High School. He says it's conceivable that Keyano, which is experiencing a shortage of parking space, will "knock on his door some time in the future." Mr.

Denyes said the high school needs room to expand and for the past year has been considering the problem. An unnamed source at the public school board confirmed the school has been "looking over its fences." FORT McMURRAY Twenty-eight trailer park evictees here will soon breathe easier. Group spokesman Hugh Denyes says they have a verbal agreement from lawyers for Norm Simons, who operates Ralph's Trailer Park, to "back off of the eviction notice" provided tenants agree to an order and writ of possession. Tenants had been ordered to be off the premises by Jan. 30.

Mr. Denyes says the consent order means the writ will come into effect if tenants default on rents. Tenants must also agree to move within a specified time when a trailer park becomes available. (A 750-stall park at Timberlea for lot rental and sale will be ready next year.) Meanwhile, Fort McMurray city council last week passed a two-year moratorium on a May 13, 1980 $80,000 new home no joke research centre. Mr.

Singh didn't believe his luck was real until he was shown the matching half of the $5 ticket drawn at the Coliseum Saturday before the Oilers-North Stars game. Mr. Singh is a worthy winner, he said. "He's the father of two young children and he's living with his father, so this is very important to him." The raffle raised more than $100,000. Kulbir Singh couldn't believe it when Mike McCarthy called him Saturday to say he had just won an $80,000 home.

"He thought it was someone playing a cruel joke," said Mr. McCarthy, vice-president of Northern' Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation. The foundation raffled the Mill Woods house, donated by Nu West Homes, to raise funds for a pediatric Births AITCHISON Wendy and Bill proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Danielle Rene, on December 16th, 1981 weighing nine pounds, four ounces.
