Jenkins, A. H. Hanapel, Robert Olive and Clyde Lovelace. DAVID JENKINS The funeral service for David Jenkins, former pioneer resident of Pan Bernardino, whose death occurred in Honolulu, will be held Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 3 o'clock in the Little Church of the Flowers In Forest Lawn park, Glendnle.

Interment will be in the cemetery beside his mother. The body is being brought to the mainland on a liner arriving In Los Angeles harbor today. E. P. Laurance of San Bernardino, an old friend of the Jenkins family, will he a pallbearer.

Color the picture and send it to the Shirley Temple Contest Editor, in care of The Sun Co. Eleven prizes are offered for the best entries from boys and girls 16 or under. Every little girl and boy In San Bernardino likes Shirley Temple, filmdom's latest child star, and is being given an opportunity this week to turn that admiration into cash. For the Fox West Coast theater, where Shirley's picture, "Little Miss Marker," will open next Sunday, is offering prizes for a few minutes of fun. Burton Jones, manager of the theater, is offering a $5 bill to the girl or boy, 16 years old or less, who can color the accompanying picture in the most artistic manner.

All you have to do is to color the picture in any way you wish, with water colors, crayons or colored pencils, and decorate it as you like. You may mount it if you desire, but it is not necessary. Apparently stranded as they fed on smaller fish, the whales were left high and dry when the tide I receded and died.
