U. G. Henderson of Etiwanda celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding- today at their home, surrounded ly relatives, and all 1ut one of their ten children, and Si era rid children. Mr. and Mrs.

Henderson have resided in Etiwanda for many years, end were previously residents of San Bernardino, where their wedding occurred, their families being among tle early settlers of the valley. Walter. Alex, David, Grover and Earl Henderson, and Mrs. Nettle' Perdew, and Mrs. Jamea Anderson of Highland, with their famine. Mrs.

C. N. Ross, who' met so tragic death In town last Friday, by being struck by an electric Mm. Ross was greatly beloved by all, especially those intimately acquainted with her, and her death and the manner in which it occurred has cast a deep shadow over the community. Services' were held frotn the McDonald Undertaking parlors, conducted by Rev.

G. Ruoff. The Etlwanda male quartette, with Mrs. T. Donnelly as pianist, sang several numbers.

Injury ratal Arthur Lewis Brand, the 18-year-olc Chaffey High school boy, who on th evening of January 27 was horribly in jured in a motocycle crash with Arthu- Payne, a local plumber, died at his home last night. The cause of his deatl is given as typhoid fever, but there i no doubt that the disease: was Inducer by weakness caused by -the amputatioi of one of his legs, as a result of th accident, which also terribly shattered his lower jaw. The boy was the sort of John Jaco; who was in the east at th time of the accident and who hurrle-home, when the news reached him.
