The committee is composed of representatives of the various utilities located in this area. The men meet regularly, and keep each other abreast of their various projects. The planning sessions are important because they provide an available channel of communication for the workmen whenever one utility company finds it neces is UlSE.

Laurel LEGAL NOTICE COMMODITY CERTIFICATION SCHEDULE The St. Landry Parish Community Action Agency will begin taking new applications for USDA donated commodities, distributed to needy families under the Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program. All households who wish to participate, or continue to participate must complete a new ApplicationDeclaratory Statement of Eligibility, in order to receive commodities in July, 1989. Peacock owner Keith Johnson expecta the popular 29 year-old singer to draw one of the largest crowds ever to the Peacock Saturday. Persons may obtain tickets at the Music Machine in Eunice and at Floyd's Record Shop in Ville Platte. Stevie B.

released a new Album "In My Eyes" on February 3, and sales are now in excess of 300,000. A tune released as a single, "I Wanna Be The One," has sold over 250,000 copies. "In My Eyes" reflects the growth of Stevie B. from a Miami based dance artist to a major pop artist. Stevie B.

has put together a collection of varied compositions which highlight both his vocal prowess and his songwrit-ing abilities. The material is quality and commercial without reflecting any stagnation in the artist's vocal or Bongwriting development, according to the report. Stevie B. was born in Miami, and his full name is Stevie B. Hill.
