The reception WAS held at the home of Major and Mrs. R. W. Bradley, where the bride's table was centred with a model convoy of the Canadian navy, flanked on either side with candles and flags.

The wedding cake, on a silver base, was topped with red, white and blue flowers, and miniature flags. Toast to the bride was proposed by CPO, Hawkins. Mrs. Bradley received with the bride's mother, Mrs. Geeson, who wore aquamarine with a corsage of red roses.

Mrs. J. Boyd McBride Hostess At Pre-nuptial Reception, Friday Entertaining in honor of her daughter, Miss Alison McBride, whose marriage to Mr. Richard Douglas will take place quietly on May 24, Mrs. J.
