Over the coming week-end the Jant-zens are to have City Superintendent of Schools Koy Stover and Mrs. Stover of San Bernardino as their guests. Mrs. Janet Fish left today for Pasadena for a visit of a week with friends, making the trip with F.

Lewis who went in to Los Angeles on business. Mr. and Mrs. Yolney Johnson and family sought Laguna beach yesterday as the destination of a motoring trip to the coast. Mrs.

Guy L. Rick and two little daughters came down yesterday from a vacation sojourn of several weeks at the family cabin at Twin Peaks. Mr. Kick went up for the 'week-end. L.

Rutherford and son, Loron, and Mrs. Mundell, mother of Mrs. Rutherford, motored to Los Angeles Sunday morning to bring home Alberta and Doris Rutherford who have been visiting with relatives In the city for several days. Friends of C. A. McDonald will be glad to learn that he is slowly but surely recovering from the injury to his back, sustained in a bad fall from a high ladder about two weeks ago, and is hoping to be able to venture dawn town tomorrow. Mrs. Walter McXair and children enjoyed a motor drive to Los.

Angeles as a Sunday pleasure outing. Mrs. J. B. Foster, who has been a guest since Friday at the home of hpr parents, Mr.

and Mrs. T. M. Hatchett, returned last evening to Hollywood. Her brother-in-law, Roy Foster, accompanied her for a visit in Hollywood and Los Angeles.

Mrs. Edward Allen and little son, Jack, of El Centro, have been visiting here for a week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gilbert. Mrs.

Allen, who will be better remembered in Colton as Miss Kathleen Browning, came up from the valley a couple of weeks ago to remain until September with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Browning, at Fontana.

Former ischool friends have much enjoyed the reunion with Mrs. Allen. Last evening she, was entertained at dinner at the T. M. Hatchett home.

Miss Ethel Hatchett left Saturday night on the Saint to spend a two weeks' vacation in San Francisco and vicinity. While in the north Miss Hatchett will be with Miss Dale Scott, who recently visited in Colton at the Hatchett home while out from Missouri for a tour of California.
