mm isjMfcjfc 1 1 Extensive preparations have been made at Urblta Springs for the big labor day celebration Monday. A' big monkey circus, known as Tony Rider's happy family of educated monkeys, will be one of the big attractions. The Redlands and San Bernardino A I', of M. bands will plav under the di rection of Professor Ball, who Is now widely known as a musical director all over Southern California. The band -will play both afternoon and evening, and probably the best musical program of the year will be staged for the big Labor day crowds.

In the evening there will be a huge display of fireworks. These big numbers, combined with the other attractions of dancing, hoating and swimming, will make an 'attractive program. A baseball game will be on the afternoon schedule. NURSERY INSTALLED AT THE OPERA HOUSE "Home, S-weet a life drama of more than unusual appeal, showing the birth of the famous song, "Home, Sweet Home," a portion of the life of its au thor, John Howard Payne, and the effects of the song on the lives, actions and morals of many will be the attraction which will open at the mati nee this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. 'This six-reel play will be shown also tonight and 9 o'clock, tomorrow after noon at 2:30 and 3:45, and tomorrow night for the last time at the two evening performances.

This is a fitting successor of the Pick- ford picture that Thursday and yester day afternoon and evening drew full houses. It has an unusuaally largo ana cast, and the "little slices ot life" of John Howard Payne, as depleted by the drama woven about his life are realistic, appealing and something de cidedly out of the ordinary. (Beginning at today's matinee there will be an experienced matron in charge of the "nursery," and mothers wlir be able to leave their infants in safe and moth erly hands while they arc enjoying tho show. This feature of tho ''Paramount" service, will bo permanent and Is expected to be a very 'popular arrangement for tho convenience of the ninny inotr; who mlHlit wish to attend a matinee, jilt be prevented from doing so bccauo or their little charges. Yrsterdav a hoppv crowd of little tois played In the nursery, which has been provided and the room is so seciuucu thnt th youngsters can amuse them selves at the same time not Inter fere with a perfect enjoyment or me show by all patrons.
