Waite havo been making anxious inquiries for several days as her critical condition told of the struggle that was going on to save her life and retain her to her family and friends, and many were the prayers that went up that she might be spared to those who loved her.

Saturday they were quite hopo-tul but Sunday she began to fail moro swiftly and at 12:30 Sunday night the end came and she quietly breathed her last Mrs. Waite was an active member o' St. John's Episcopal church and a leader in all good works of the Guild, of which she was a devoted member. She was an active worker in the interest of the best church music and for months officiated as organist, and when the surpliced chior was organized she took the position of leading soprano, her clear, well cultured voice that has so often delighted her friends at social gatherings proving of great value at the head of the choir. Loss will be deeply felt not only by her husband and son Paul, but ln the church for whose good she so loved to work, and also by a vSry large circle of friends.
