Collingwood was easily the pick of the winners, in faot the best of the whole bunch. He scored three of the goals and checked back In big leaguo style all the time he was on the Ice.

There was a big crowd of rooters from both schools In attendance ana the game was weH handled by Baldy Lynn. Whether Edmonton's famous puokohaser waa able to make arrangements for a play-off that will bring tha Saskatchewan ehampiona here has not yst boon disclosed, but there Is just a chance that a home and horns series will materlaliie. see Interest In the forthcoming bout at Toledo between Jimmy Wilde and Frankie Mason for tho world's flyweight title, whioh takes place early In March, and for which the Welsh atom is guaranteed the handsome figure of $10,000, has been somewhat increased following the licking Mason handed out to "Red" Con-ant at Fort Wayne Monday night Mason gave away considerable weight to the "Rod" person, but this did not appear to cause him any undue hardship, aa he pum-moled Conant all over the ring and tha bout was stopped in the third frame with "Red" pretty badly used up. Wilde has done exactly the sams thing in his recent bouts, and when the two classy midgets mingle a rare exhibition shou'd be witneesed. The flat state ment waa made here Monday that three major league players of some prominence would not be seen In any championship games this year as the result of a secret Investigation which has been carried on for some time, and which bad to do with betting. Supporters of the South Side club who are willing to contribute a little towards making the trip to Calgary a certainty are asked to send their subscriptions to the Hub cigar store or to the South Side rink.
