Cornbower, 23, of 15 Green Ridge Road, New Oxford, died Monday, May 10, at Hanover General Hospital from complications of Muscular Dystrophy. Born in Hanover, he was the son of Sally R. Bankert Klunk of New Oxford and Ronald P. Cornbower of Hanover. He was a member of St.

Joseph's Catholic Church in Hanover. He graduated from New Oxford High School Class of 1990. He was an honorary life member of Lakeside Kruizers in Hanover. He was also a member of National Wildlife Federation. In addition to his parents, he is survived by paternal grandparents, Charles and Louise Cornbower of McSherrystown; maternal grandparents, Theodore and Lidia Bankert of Hanover; and step- grandparents, Ray and Mary Klunk of New Oxford.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Feiser Funeral Home 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with the Rev. Lawrence Hemler, assistant pastor of St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Hanover, officiating. He will be cremated and interment will be at a later time.

He retired from Hanover Wire Cloth in 1986, after 20 years of service.
