Ron is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary, who tirelessly supported him through his three-year battle with cancer; his daughters Kate and Janet: his sons-in-law Mitchell and Jeremy; and his granddaughters Dory (age two) and Ronnie (three months). For 32 years, Ron was lawyer at Gowlings in Ottawa, where he built a successful practice and made many friends.

In 2014, he and Mary retired Lakefield. Ontario, later Toronto to join their daughters and granddaughters. Ron will be remembered for his curiosity, his quick wit. and his great head of hair, but most of all, for his love of family. He will be dearly missed.
