OBITUARIES ALMOND, Anne Elizabeth Passed away peacefully on March 20, 2015 at the age 13, of 91. Anne was born in Montreal April 1923 to Doris and Marshall Seath. on Survived by her brother Bill; her daughter Jane and son James.

She will be missed by her five grandchildren Jessica. Michael, James, Emma and Shannon. She will also be missed greatly by her niece Jill and nephew John. Anne graduated with a BSc in chemistry from McGill University in 1944. She went on to a professional career with Atomic Energy in both Chalk River and Harwell in Britain and later at Food and Drug in Ottawa.

She married John Almond in 1952. Anne enjoyed her time outdoors and participated in many hobbies and pastimes including gardening, skiing, walking and especially appreciated her time at the cottage in Perth. McQueen died peacefully at Parkview Home in Stouffville. Ontario, on March 18th at the age of 88. He is survived by his loving children, Robert, Martin, and Alison, and will be greatly missed by his many other relatives and friends. David had a long and varied career at the Bank of Canada, the Economic Council of Canada, and Glendon College, York University (where he was a Professor of Economics and served as Glendon's sprincipal). In hisretirement he was a dedicated member of the Save the Oak Ridges Moraine Coalition.

A private funeral service will be held in Stouffville. Ontario and there will be a later memorial service this summer in Toronto. Son of the late Warner and Elizabeth Miles, he is predeceased by his brothers Warren, Ellard (Francis) and Ronnie (Bernice) and his sister Lorna Ford (Alfred). Norm is survived by his wife Joan Milliken, his best friend and brother Neil (Anna), his many nieces and nephews. and his first wife Kathleen Miles. Norman leaves behind his daughters Jennifer, Sandra, and Susan (Tony Mungham), and his sons Warner (Laurie), Fred (Aline). Andrew (Debbie), and Matthew (Dawn).

He will be missed by his eleven grandchildren one great grandchild. A graduate of the University of Ottawa, he became a dedicated public servant for forty six years at Agricultural Canada. He was a lifetime advocate for the arts and supported many local artists and musicians. His passions were the piano, his garden, drives in the country, orchids, rock outcrops, his friends and his family. He will certainly be remembered as a kind hearted loving father.

He greatest pleasure and pride was in his loved camping with them at Bon Echo, skiing at Camp Fortune and traveling the world with his wife and his camera. In retirement, he was an active member of the Wild About Walking Club at St Laurent Centre. He was much loved for his kindness and gentleness. Our gratitude to Dr. Louise Coulombe and the palliative care team from At -Home Hospice and We Care for the wonderful, compassionate care.
