An unfair advantage is talc- en when a person Is angry over the telephone, or perhaps abusive. Such talk should be given face to face with the one addressed, but better not at all at any t.me! Many a message o' hope and consideration is sent over the telephone wires. And many a business deal is consummated through it Salesmen use it, because it is next, to a personal call. At Williams Grore i Speedway next Sunday, October 23 (rain date October 30), this question will be decided once and for alL And for the first time in the history of Jalopies they will run under exactly the same conditions as the great Indianapolis Classic, wftn time trials under the supervision of George Deitrich, Official AAA Timer, with his electric clocks, at 11:00 A.M.

Jalopies are limited to American Passepger Cars wfth Motors, Bodies, and Chassis from 1932 to 1948. Onlr through the skill and ingenuity of the owners, mechanics and have these old cars been able to attain such terrific speed and stamina. The reason ther mar prove faster than late model Stock Cars, including 1955 and 1956 models, is that they are allowed overbore of .086 plus .020 for wear, maximum with 235 cubic inches, and also locked rear ends, same as Indianapolis Cars, while strictly stock cart must run as is.
