Born in Eng: land in 1942 Howard was the cherished husband of Paula Hilton), and beloved son of Betty and the late Jack Richardson. Howard was the most loved father to Kelly Pangborn (Bill), Stephen Spour (Lisa), Kevin Spour (Brenda) and Melanie Brennan (Dan).

Howard was an adored "Poppa" to his 7 grandchildren Lindsay, and William Pangborn, Mitchell Spour, Caitlyn Thomas-Spour, Kylie and Makenna Brennan. Brother to Derek (Brenda) and loved uncle to Andrea and Paul Richardson (all of England). Brother-in-law to Harry Hilton and the late Cherry Starmer (Norman). Howard lived a full life and accomplished much. He was a true Renaissance Man.

He won the World Professional Ice Dancing Championship in 1967 and was a Figure Skating Coach for 30 years at Nepean Figure Skating Club. His passion was education and he attained a Bachelor of Journalism at Carleton University, and a Masters in English Literature in 2001. He taught English at Algonquin College since 1998. He had an eclectic taste in music and was happiest listening to his "incredible sound system" whether he was playing Bach or the Beatles. Above all Howard loved his family and his pride in them was evident in everything he did.

The family would like to thank Dr. Rodney Tee, Dr. M. Farncombe, Max and the Palliative Care Team for their many kindnesses, Bayshore Nurses, especially Kim and Judy and the caring people at CCAC. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. Grace also is survived by her sister Dorothy Hunter-Shinkarik, of Windsor, her brother, John "Teddy" Munson, of Toronto, and her dear cousin Josie Ede, of BognorRegis, England, as well as by dozens upon dozens of other cousins, nieces and nephews. The Wilson family extends heartfelt thanks to Robertson House's staff for the wonderful and professional care given to Grace. A celebration-of-life ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. on September 18, 2010, at the Pinecrest Cemetery Chapel, followed by a reception.

Frank was born in Regina, SKin 1924. He joined the Regina Rifles in 1944 and attended McGill civil engineering under a wartime program. He met his wife, Lois Jane Belanger, on a sleigh ride in Montreal.

They just celebrated their wedding anniversary. As a young man, Frank was a symphony violinist and a Queen's scout. He was a lifelong skilled d. hobbyist in woodworking. His career included work as a hospital construction superintendent with J.L.E.

Price and Pigott Construction, and as co-owner of Canadian Tire stores in Sydney, NS and Ottawa, ON. He worked for 17 years with Statistics Canada as a construction expert. For many years, he was on a neverending cottage improvement project at Lake Pemichangan, north of Ottawa. Survived by his wife Lois; two sons: Douglas (Lynne) and Bruce (Mimi); six grandchildren: Lise (Craig), Jason (Sascha), Andrew (Rosmond), Clifford, Kathryn and Rosalie; three great grandchildren: Rowan, Corbin and August. Family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M.

Predeceased by her husband, Charles Porter Wright, by her daughter.

Merida Woodburn Sachs, her brother Cliff Survived Alexander, and four her nephew Jeffrey Lyon. by grandsons, Joel (Olga), David (Megan), Adam (Margarita), Matthew (Laurie), nieces Laurie Lyon, Colita Lyon Robinson, nephews Bruce, Don and Dana Lyon, great grandchildren Anya, Sasha, Jordan Charles, Merida, and her sister Phyllis Lyon (George Lyon). Born in Ottawa, Irene (nee Woodburn) started her musical career at an early age giving acclaimed concerts in Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto. Through the years, she became a familiar name on The Artist Series on the C.B.C. Sunday morning and Wednesday night recitals.

During the War years she did many of the "fills" for C.B.C when the war news could not get through, sometimes on an hour's notice. Irene played with the Ottawa Symphony, The Promenade Symphony in Toronto, the C.B.C Radio Orchestra, and several times with the Montreal Little Symphony. As a teacher, she headed the music department at Ashbury College. In her years of private lessons, Irene had many wonderful students who remained in touch with her. She also devoted time to teaching and lecturing in Chautauqua, N.Y.

and Pittsburgh, Penn. To the delight of audiences, she resumed her concert career in her 80's and 90's as a duo pianist giving benefit concerts for The King's Daughters Meals on Wheels. Irene was a former President of The Ottawa Music Club, The Ottawa Branch O.R.M.T.A and the Ottawa Division of The Canadian National Competitions. She was an 1 Honorary Member of the Ottawa Music Club. The Laurentian Music Club, The Ottawa Branch of the O.R.M.T.A.

and The Ottawa and Hull District local of the Musicians Union. Irene was awarded the gold medal in piano competitions of the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto, the Hazel Ireland Eaton Piano Scholarship at the Royal Conservatory in Toronto and she received a Bachelor of Music Degree. from Bishops University, Lennoxville, Quebec. also a book, to help students learn to play by ear. Irene loved to paint, golf, and spend time with her grandchildren for whom she was a tremendous role model.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Palisades for their exceptional care and John Singlehurst for his extraordinary and unwavering support and friendship.
