He was predeceased by his soulmate Barbara (nee Marriner), his parents Roy and Catherine Forrester as well as his brother Jim Forrester (Elizabeth). He is survived by his sisters Mary Lappan (William) and Anita Peruzzi (Renato). He was a loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews, as well as brotherin-law his extended Mariner family. Charles was retired from Bell Canada after 41 years of service.

Our family gratefully acknowledges the staff of Perley Rideau for their compassion and expertise in looking after Uncle Chuck through his difficult illness, with special mention to Dr. Hamilton, Dr. Uppal and Tatiana as well as his caregiver Glenda. A Memorial Service will be held at Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa) on Friday, November 9 at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer Society.

John was predeceased by his parents, Edward Hunt and Anita He was ordained as a Priest, September 21, 1968, as a member of the religious congregation of The Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Fr. John has served the people of God in many capacities; as the Superior at the Holy Rosary Scholasticate (Ottawa), as the editor of "Oblate a Missionary in Peru, on the Pastoral Team of St. Joseph's Parish in Ottawa, and as Chaplain at CFB Edmonton and Joyceville Penitentiary. Most recently, he was involved in outreach ministries in the Ottawa area.

He would frequently minister at LANGSTAFF, Barbara Watters (nee Gray) Peacefully at Stittsville on Tuesday, November 6th, 2007, Barbara W. (Gray) Langstaff in her 95th year. Wife of the late Charles F. Langstaff. Survived by her children Robert (Arlene) Langstaff of Otter Lake, Andrea Todd of Nepean, her grandchildren Christopher (Mary) and Stephanie (Mark) and her great-grandchildren Nikolas and Thomas Finer and Katherine Langstaff.

Barb was an active member of the Smiths Falls community for many years. She was a member the Westminster Presbyterian Church Choir and a Rotary Ann. She belonged to the Smiths Falls Curling Club, the Smiths Falls Golf and Country Club and participated in "Meals on Wheels" and "Women in Prior to retirement, she worked as a ward clerk at the Smiths Falls Public Hospital South Unit. Cremation services will be private. In lieu of flowers, Barb requested that friends who wish to express condolences might contribute to the charity of their choice.

Rae Riches and her family. Gordon was predeceased by his first wife Marguerite and his brother Ted. Gordon was born on April 1, 1922, the third generation to an early Kamloops pioneer family. His grandfather brought the first motorcar to the community and was an early entrepreneur. Gordon was known and loved by all who knew his friendship.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonged to him, the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, He looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there only one set of footprints. I don't undestand why when I needed you most you would leave The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child, Ilove you and would never leave you.
