OBITUARIES Tuesday, March 3, 2009 A7 Myra Spcllman GILLETTE - Funeral services for Myra Spell-man, 91, will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Pastor Peggy Brown of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow in Mt . Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. , Tues -day, March 3, 2009, at Gillette Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Spellman died on Wednesday February 27, 2009, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Rockpile Museum. . Memorials and condolences may be sent in Myra's name in care of Gillette Memorial Chapel, 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyo. Keith James Fellon BIG HORN - Memorial services for Keith James Fellon, 59, will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 5, 2009, at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor Larry Sipe officiating. Cremation has taken place. He died Thursday, February 26, 2009, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital. He had been a client of Big Horn Enterprises in Thermopolis for 32 years. Eulojio 'Coke' Padilla LOVELL - Mass for Eulojio "Coke" Padilla, 82, was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2009, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Interment was in the Lovell Cemetery. Rosary was held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2009, at Haskell Funeral Home. He died on Monday, February 23, 2009, at the North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell. Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell was in charge of arrangements. John G. Heward MEDICINE BOW - Services for John G. Heward, are scheduled to take place at 2 p.m. , Saturday, March 14, 2009, at the Medicine Bow School. He died on February 8, 2009, in Phoenix, Ariz., from a massive stroke. She died peacefully, March 2, 2009 in Gering, Nebraska at Heritage Estates Care Fa - cility where she had lived for the past year. Being very patriotic, she joined the U.S. Navy during World War II, training as a Link Operator, teaching instrument flying to pilots. After WWII, she finished her BS degree in education at Northwestern University in 1947. A reception will be held in the church following the service. The Rev's Charles Shannon, Bryant Badger and Paul Hallock officiated. Bob died Friday February 27, 2009 following a lengthy battle with COPD. Bob was born February 13, 1922 in St Mary's, PA. Following high school he worked in the Coal Mines until one of the mine collapsed and he was trapped inside. He then decided the military was a "easier" job. Bob joined the Army Air Corps and was stationed in Casper at the Casper Air Camp. He began dating and later married Betty Cilstrap on February 18, 1944. Bob was then deployed to Italy. ON I June 6, 1944 (D-Day) he was shot down and spent 66 days behind enemy lines avoiding capture as the crew walked back to safety with the help of local peasants and Gen Mihailovich. After the war he returned to Casper to raise his family. Bob was active in 1 st Christian Church since 1958 and an active volunteer in the community. Survivors include his son Rod Knowlton of Casper and daughter Linda Titus of Brunswick, GA; four granddaughters and 6 great-grandchildren and his "best friend" Emma Crawford. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Betty; a son Steven Robert Knowlton, his parents and 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Memorials may be made to 1st Christian Church Memorial Fund or Central Wyoming Senior Service Center or other charity of choice. Newcomer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
