Hilary leaves to mourn her loving family Devin and Alana, Mara and Greg, Alexis and Athena. Her partner Ken, brother Colin and family Shellee, Sonny and Asia and her uncle Gordon and family and friends in Edinburgh and Ottawa. Hilary left this world far too soon, but she will live in the hearts of those who loved her. Funeral on Tuesday, January 7, 2002 Heritage Funeral Home, White Horse, Yukon.

Predeceased by brothers Lloyd, Norval (Kathleen) and sisters Verona (Harold Hill), Marion (Roland Beaudet), Iris (Gerald Canough). Edwin in Westmount, Quebec on September 27, 1917, moved to Vancouver, B.C at the age of 12. He later served in Royal Canadian Navy retiring as Lieutenant Commander. Edwin retired as an executive of the Royal Bank of Canada.

Adored and loved by his wife of 51 years, Eva Lupton) and 7 his daughters, Kathleen, Beverley and Helen. Loved and appreciated by his sons-in-law, Frank, Paul and Don. Fondly remembered by his sister Patricia Gowans and many nieces, nephews and numerous close friends. He was a retired employee of Agriculture Canada (37 years) and a founding member of the Rideau Radio Control Flyers. He was a man who loved and cared for so many and was loved in return. She is survived by her five children, Heather, Catherine, Patrick (Miriam), Michael (Christine) and Peter; her grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew and Erika; her sisters, Mary Shanahan (Chicago), Ann Heneghan (Ireland) and Kitty Stratton (England); her sister brothers-in-law, Elsie and Reginald Carmody and Dennis and Dorilla Carmody and many nieces and nephews including goddaughter Pauline Carmody. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Archibaid, by daughter Maureen, by sister Bridget McGovern and by brothers Michael, James and Peter Heneghan. While raising her family and working as a nurse at Marianhill, Norah developed her artistic talents. She combined this with her love of nature to create beautiful embroidered works.

She was one of nine siblings and enjoyed many family reunions. Everyone knew her as Aunt Mina. 'She was a loving, caring and guiding soul who always had time for everyone.
