Harner nnni Ifc 111. fcVllJ 40 sovSP" riwnw 11 WASHINGTON (AP) Indians occupying the Bureau of Indian Affairs Building rejected a compromise proposal early Saturday, refusing to end their sit-in that began The Indians refused to obey a court order to clear out of the building by midnight, and then shouted down the Justice Department's compromise The proposal provided for other accommodations for the Indians, who have Rain is forecast today for parts of the Rocky Mountain states and Texas. Snow is probable over some-of the Northeast, North Dakota and Montana. There will be cold temperatures in the Northeast.

Maple Ephrata; died Friday afternoon in Hershey Medical Center where he was a patient six days. Dr. Fake, a past illustrious potentate of Rajah Temple, Reading, was well-known in Shrine circles throughout the eastern part of Pennsylvania. Dr. Fake was a founder of the Ephrata Community Hospital and founder and president of Dutchmaid clothing manufacturer in Ephrata.

He was a member of Olivet Lodge Lebanon for 52 years, and was affiliated with shrine clubs of Rajah Temple and the Harrisburg Consistory. He had been a general practitioner in Ephrata since 1928. He was a member of the American, Pennsylvania, and Lancaster Medical Associations; the American Academy of General Practice and Homeopathic Medical Society. He had served in the army in World War the air force in World War II, and was founder of the Ephratra -Amvets. He was past commander of the Cloister American Legion Post, Ephrata.

Surviving are his widow, the former Mabel Long; four daughters, and 12 grandchildren. Services will be held Monday afternoon in First United Methodist Chirch, Ephrata. Rev. Dr. E.

M. Rhoad and Rev. Edward F. Ohms, officiating. The a v-e nor Home for Funerals, Ephrata, has charge.

Gussie C. Knight Mrs. Gussie C. Knight of 303 E. Main Schuylkill Haven died this morning in Good Samaritan Hospital.

She was 93. Mrs. Knight was born at Eden Center, N.Y., a daughter of the late John S. and Annie (Knoch) Mackey. Her husband, John W.

Knight, died in 1952; a son John M. Knight, died Dec. 1, 1971. Mrs. Knight was of the Lutheran faith.

Her only survivor is a daughter-in-law, Helen Knight of Cressona. Services will be held Tuesday morning from the Harold H. Geschwindt Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven. Rev. Alton Hoffman, Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schuylkill Haven, officiating.

Interment in Schuylkill Memorial Park. Shawn Keller Shawn Keller, 23-months-old son of William S. and Dawn Miller Keller, RD2 Pine Grove, died Friday at Pottsville Hospital. He was born Dec. 5, 1970.

Surviving are his parents, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William M. Keller, RD2 Pine Grove; paternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Mary Keller, Rest Haven; a half-brother, William S.

Emma C. Harner, a former Resident of Port Carbon, died this morningg at the United Methodist Nursing Home, Lewisburg. Mrs. Harner was the widow of Rev. Harvey E.

Harner, who was pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, Port Carbon for 17 years until 1949. Rev. Harner died May 9, 1964. Mrs. Harner was born in Stevens, Lancaster County.

She was a daughter of the late Charles S. and Lydia (Mohler) Lutz. Surviving are these children, Betty Harner, Lewisburg; Virginia, wife of Gilbert Swift, Bryan, Richard of Wallingford; a brother, John of New York; a sister, M. M. Kleckner, Philadelphia; two grandchildren.

Mary Grady Mrs. Patrick Grady of 85 Homesville Ashland died unexpectedly Friday morning at her home. Mrs. Grady was the former Mary Seaner. She was a daughter of the late John and.

Bridget (Coyle) Seaner. Mrs. Grady was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Girardville; the CDA, Court St. Cecilia 1529, Girardville; and the Senior Citizens.

Luther Spancake A. Luther Spancake, 74, .19 Mifflin Pine Grove, died Friday at West Reading Hospital. I Mr. Spancake was born in Pine Grove, son of the late Charles K. and Ida Madenford Spancake.

He had been employed for 47 years as clerk by the Reading Railroad. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Chruch and the Hose, Hook and Ladder Fire Company No. 1. Surviving are his widow, the former Edna Moyer a son, Richard, Colquitt, a daughter, Janet, wife of Norman Rehrer, Pine Grove; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Robert P. Graham Robert P. Graham, 37, 213 S. 15th Harrisburg, died Friday afternoon in Harrisburg. He was born June 21, 1935, a son of Mrs.

Mr. Heckman was born April 21, 1919 in Ashland, a son of Benjamin W. Heckman Sr. and Laura (Camp) Heckman of Lakeworth, Fla. Mr.

Heckman, self-employed, had operated a television center in Aristes. He was a 1936 graduate of Ashland High School and a veteran of World War II. Mr. Heckman was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Aristes; Cedar Lodge 670 Mount Carmel; the Griscolm Chapter and Prince of Peace Commandry of Ashland; and the Caldwell Consistory of Bloomsburg.

Kehler, 65, of 1830 Hamilton Allentown, died Friday in Allentown Hospital. She was a daughter of Mrs. Mary E. (LeVan) Elliot of Allentown, who survives, and the late Edward J. Elliot.
