Sunday, Januarl NEWS RACES and fc ill J0Fsgy The landmark Williamsburgh Savings Bank building, which is undergoing a complete makeover and assuming a new identity, got a boost recently from a group of models. The women were there to pass out key-chains imprinted with the outline of the historic building and noting its location directly over the Long Island Rail Road station to arriving LIRR passengers. The building, bought by the Republic National Bank, is now known as Number One Hanson Place. Erasmus High School students majoring in the culinary arts showed off one of their creations a carouselat the International Hotel show last month and earned an honorable mention in the prestigious competition. Their effort used pliant pancakelike Norwegian Krum Kaga to form the roof and base of the merry-go-round and thin Grisini bread sticks to form the poles for multicolored marzipan horses.

The carousel was the creation of Jerry Solages, Abiola Forde, Ellis Elias and Leonard Has-tick but Hastick was camera shy. MODELS Jennifer, IMitchi, Fiona, Electra and Sarah pose before handing out key chains. llilPwf Smmmmmmm ilfeillti Samuel Zucker, former associate director of admissions at Columbia University Teachers College, has been named director of admissions at St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights. A Heights resident who holds a bachelor's degree from Muhlenberg College and a master's from the University of Vermont, Zucker has also worked as assistant director of admissions at the New School for Social Research.

They accepted the post recently at a brunch in the Manhattan home of Natalio Fridman.

Aish HaTorah originally started as a school in Jerusalem in 1974 but has grown into an international organization. The goal of the dinner is to raise funds to help finance the organization's activities in the greater New York area. I Civil Court Judge Jerry Rosenberg recently administered the oath of office to the officers of Ragamuffin sponsors of the popular Ragamuffin Parade in Bay Ridge. Sworn in by Rosenberg were Josephine Gil-berti, recording secretary; Tim Drain, president; Linda Rossel, corresponding secretary; Dilia Schack and Clorinda Annarumo, vice presidents, and Robert Bartels, treasurer.
