i B344T6 ALBERT, Raymond Bernard At Versa Care Lodge after a lengthy illness on Thursday, April 22, 1 999. Born April 1 2, 1 926, the eighth son of the late Alma Bigras and the late Lor enzo Albert, Raymond attended the elementary schools in Mechanicsville. During the 2nd World War after proudly serving his country with the Canadian Infantry Corps for 18 months, he joined the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 351 of which he is still a member. He is also an honorary lifetime member, 3rd degree, ot the Knights ot Columbus, local 5865. In 1955 Raymond started his own plumbing and heating business and successfully operated same until 1 979.

He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 50 years Alice Laronde; his 6 children Richard (Huguette Daoust), Claire (for merly Lee), Helene (Leo McOuaig), Andre (Su zanne Dumont), Louise (Rick Cloutier) and Linda (Dean Tremblay); 1 1 grandchildren Jennifer, Mi chelle, Stephanie, Daniel, Anne, Patrick, Jeffrey Katherine, Anne-Marie, Katrina and Alyssa. He was a dear brother to Jean, Maurice, Yvon, Henri and was predeceased by brothers Rene, Mario, Gaston, Gerard, Marcel, Claude, Francois, Charles and his sister Laurette. RCAF) On Friday, April 16, 1999, at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by his family, follow ing surgery, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Athol; superb father to Doug, Elaine and Jo-Anne; special grandfather to Gord, Laurie, Taylor and Kate and loving father-in-law to Carol and Richard, Predeceased by his brother Ernest and survived by his sister Helen. Frank Ball was active in the RCAFCanadian Forces following his graduation from McMaster University. He served in the Second World War as a pilot and ultimately as Com mander of the 41 5 "Swordfish" Squadron.

He held senior responsibilities with the Canadian Forces in the post war period through to retirement in 1 969, Following retirement he worked for the RCAF Association and the Belleville General Hospital be fore taking full retirement and enjoying friends, family and golf in Englewood, Florida; Chaffey's Lock, Ontario, and Alliston, Ontario. The family is especially appreciative of the care received from all the medical and support staff at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. A private family service and interment will be held in Belleville. In lieu of flowers, contributions to a favorite charity would be appreciated.
