Jean Ruth Godard R.N., passed away peacefully, at the Foothills Hospital, on April 4, 1 997, in her 72nd year. Born in Ottawa, she received her Bach elor of Science degree in Nursing from Queen's University and was a graduate of the School of Nursing, Kingston General Hospital, Kingston, Ontario.

She also obtained a diploma in Public Health Nursing, School tor Graduate Nurses McGill University, Montreal. For many years she taught nursing at McGill. After residing in Montreal and Ottawa, she came to Calgary in 1 988 and con tinued her nursing practice at the Glenmore Park Auxiliary Hospital. Jean will be lovingly remem bered by her brother John (Nancy), nephew Charles, niece Sandra; as well as her many friends. Cremation to be followed by a Graveside Service in Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa, at a later date.
