Following this, he worked for 33 years in the Ottawa and Victoria Post Offices. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Florence, 5 children; David of Bogota, Columbia; Dan of Victoria, Joy and of Prince Rupert, Eleanor (David), granddaughters Carolyn Christina of Kelowna, and Paul (Marian) in Seoul Koria. Ernie is also survived by his brothers Graham (Ottawa), Frank (Florida) and Stan (Smiths Falls, Ont.) and sister Eileen Hicks (Sydney, B.C.).
