Born in Plymouth, England on August 16, 1912, Ernie grew up in Scotland. He immigrated to Ottawa, with his family, at the age of 12. He served in the RCAF Overseas in the U.K.

during the Second World War. Following this, he worked for 33 years in the Ottawa and Victoria Post Offices. He is sur vived by his loving wife of 50 years, Florence, 5 children; David of Bogota, Columbia; Dan of Victoria, Joy of Prince Rupert, Eleanor Hogg David and granddaughters Carolyn and Christina of Kelowna, and Paul (Marian) in Seoul Koria. Ernie is also survived by his brothers Graham (Ottawa), Frank (Florida) and Stan (Smiths Falls, Ont.) and sister Eileen Hicks (Sydney, B.C.). Services were held in Victoria, B.C.

on Thursday, October 1 7 with burial following at Royal Oak Burial Park. GLAZER, Ray J. Peacefully in the presense of his family, Ray passed away on October 21 1 996. Son of the late Edgar J. Glazer and the late Yvette (Scott) and brother of the late Claude.
