The Street committee report that they have had the petition of the residents of Jefferson street under consideration and recommend the the adoption of the following resolutions: 1 Resolved, That the trees in front of A. Patterson's area nuisance. 2. Resolved, Tt at Mr. Patterson be required to remove them within GO days.

3. Resolved, That Mr. Patterson be required to pave with brick in front of his lots on the south side of Jefferson street where he resides. 4. Resolved, That the ownets of property on Jefferson stree, from Collin's brick stable to John O.

Hunter's corner be required to make a p'ank walk, four feet wide, in front of their lota. 5. Resolved, That the Marshall shall notify the parties interested in tjie above resolutions. All of which, with the resolutions were adopted. An order in favor of John Dennis for $70 00, was referred to Committee on accounts On mot on, the report of the different officers were referred to committee on accounts.

The accounts of James Tharp for 832 25 and 3 83, were refered to Hospital Committee. The account of Frank Crimme for $64 80 was referred to street committee. On motion, an allowance of 50,00 was made for the purpose of taking the course of Yazoo city to be paid as soon completed to the satisfaction of the Board. On motion the meeting adjourned. P.

To all persons interested in the Lands Tenements and hereditaments of William L. Chew, of Yazoo county, deceased. Ty OU arc hereby cited to be and personally 11 appear at the next May Term 1854, of this Court, then and there show cause, if any they can, why an order should not be granted for the sale cf certain lands lying and being in Yazoo county State of Mississippi, to-wit: of section 8, (with the exception of a part of the north of west of north-east of said section supposed to contain about forty ceres,) also the west of north west and the west of south-east of section 9, all in Township 12, Range 1 east, belonging to the estate of WM. L. Chew, deceased.

It having been represented to our Court by Francis T. Grayson and Sarah R. Grayson, administratrix of W. L. Chew, jr dee'd, that it is necessary for the sale of said la nd to pay the debts of said decedent, and further to do ad suffer such things as shall considered and ordered by our said Court in the premises; and it is further ordered that publication of said citation be made in the "Yazoo City Whig, for the space of thirty days.

Evans to secure certain debts therein described, which deed is recorded in the Probate Clerk's Ollice of Yazoo County Book R.
