(Special). The death occurred here last evening of Mrs. Annie Kerr, widow of William Kerr, and mother of Albert E. -Dubble" Kerr, some years ago a star with the Ottawa Senators in professional hockey. Mrs.

Kerr had not been in the best of health of late, and death came suddenly at home. She is survived by one son. Al bert and three sisters, Mrs. J. A.

McGlade, Perth; Mrs. D. Fowl er, and Miss Mary Mahoney, both of Toledo. The funeral will be held at St Paul's Anglican Church here tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock and interment will follow in Oak land cemetery here. KT5B17KN W.

KINBURN, Oat, Oct It. (Special) A successful euchre and dance was sponsored in the Orange Hall Friday by the Kin burn Women Institute. Proceed were in aid of the local Athletic Society. Prizes for cards were won by Mrs. Herbert Wilson end Ernest Weatherley.

Two Men Die In Galineau Area Lumber Camp Workers Are Victims of Separate Mishaps. MAMWAKI. Oct IT (Special) Deaths of two men. both employed st a Canadian In ternational Paper lumber camp 63 miles north of here, in separate accidents were reported here on Sunday. Oliver Cuindon, aged 30, of Boufget, Que, died at Maniwaki hospital early this morning from injuries suffered Saturday when a tree he was felling in the bush crushed him as it crashed to earth.

An operation was perform ed here by Dr. 3. A. Lecours. No inquest will be held.

The other death wat the drown tng on Thursday in Little Lake, several miles north of here, of Valmore Landry, 20, of Ste. Anne du Lac, Que. The youth, who was employed in the same camp as Guindon. was on his way home in a truck with three other men, Joseph Brunette, Emil Forest and Joseph Brousseau. While passing Little Lake, the men said Landry Jumped out of the cab and leaped into the water.

The men unsuccessfully tried to save him. An tavestjgation was conducted by Coroner Dr. E. A. Mulligan, who decided en inquest would be unnecessary.
