Brother-in-law to Cyprien Dallaire of St. Syxte. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Following his primary and secondary studies, Father Chevrier completed his studies in philosophy at Ste. Therese de Blainville College, his theological studies were done at the Major Seminary of Montreal and completed at the Major Seminary in Ottawa.

In the course of his priestly life he was appointed as assistant in Casselman, L'Orignal and at St. Joseph's Parish, Hull, Que. In 1934 he was appointed parish priest at St. Pierre de wake-field, in 1937 parish priest in Hammond, in 1954 parish priest of L'Orignal and in 1957 parish priest at Christ Roi Parish, Ottawa. In 1964 he retired and lived at the Major Seminary of Ottawa as a retired priest at the Cathedral Parish and then at the St.

Louis residence in Orleans. Visitations at Racine, Robert and Gauthier Funeral Directors, 259 St. Patrick St. (at Dalhousie) in Ottawa. Funeral services will be held on Friday at the Notre Dame Basilica at 2 p.m.
