He graduated with a degree in electrical engineering and worked for the Canadian Marconi Company and Avro Aircraft Ltd. He joined the Canadian Government in 1959 and served in the Cana dian Foreign Service in Lon don, England, Port of Spain and Brussels, Belgium. He-is survived by his wife Ruth Eleanor Cooper of Bellevue; a son Stephen of Halifax, N.S.; daughters Susan of Ottawa, Sandra of Toronto and Sharon of Pennetang, Ontario; brothers John, Rus-, sell and Barry, all of Canada; a sister Elinor and 3 grandchildren.
