FROM DOODLE JIVE GOSH LAS STOVER King Syndicate, World 9-RO Find Body Of Fred Golding In Ottawa River The body of Fred Golding, 50, of 375 St. Joseph street, Lachine, and former Ottawa man, was found in the Ottawa river near the Hull shore on the west side of the Alexandra bridge on Tuesday at 4.30 p.m. Nelson and Gaston Provost, of 241 Notre 'Dame street, Hull, noticed the body floating on the surface near the shore and communicated with Hull police. It was believed the body had been in the water about three weeks. It was removed to the parlors of Gauthier and Company, 101 Notre Dame street, Hull, where Dr.

Josephat Isabelle, Hull coroner, after examining the body, decided an 'inquest would be unnecessary. Identification was made by In-' spector Maxime Lavigne, who found papers in the pockets of the dead man's clothing giving the name as Fred Golding and the address as 227 Eighth avenue, Lachine. Mr. Golding lived in Ottawa and Hull for some years prior to two years ago when he went to Lachine. The drowning victim had been seen last on Friday evening.

The body was definitely identified this morning at Gauthier's undertaking parlors by two sons, Fred and Lucien Golding, of 375 St, Joseph street, Lachine. While a resident of Lachine for the past few years, the victim had returned to Hull about a month ago and had been boarding with Harry Whissell, at 65 Leduc street. Predeceased 20 years ago by his wife, Mr. Golding is survived by two sons, Fred and Lucien, of Lachine. The funeral was held this afternoon from Gauthier's parlors, .101 Notre Dame street, to Notre Dame Church, Hull, for Libera service, after which the body was conveyed to Lachine for burial.
