Jason SteinbergSpecial to The Examiner By Natali T.Del Conte Staff Writer RICHARD DELATEUR Monday, March 20, 2006 NEW APPOINTMENTS SCSI trade group re-elects president The SCSI Trade Association, a member-run industry association established to support and promote SCSI technology, announced its new board of directors for 2006, including re-elected President Harry Mason of LSI Logic. New to the board are Don Jean-nette of Fujitsu and Susan Bob-holz of Intel. The remainder of tlie nine-person board was re-elected for another one-year term. REAL ESTATE Real estate firm Equis announced Greg Hylton as senior VP, managing director, and Cal Meeder as VP and senior project manager of the San Francisco office.

Newmark Knight Frank, a global real estate services firm, said Bill Benton, Mike Brown and Quentin Knights have been named principals in the San Francisco office. All three individuals were previously managing directors with the firm. Presidio Merchant Partners LLC, an independent wealth management and corporate finance firm, appointed Bracken White principal of the corporate finance unit and Michael Blackman managing director for the wealth management group. Zephyr Real Estate announced its 2005 top producers. Leading the company in overall sales is Bonnie Spindler.

In his new job, he is learning as much about biotechnology as possible while getting to know the 87 other people who work at the South San Francisco headquarters. "There is not much of a cafeteria here but there is candy everywhere," he said.

"I might not be the best one to explain it, but I'm learning," says the new chief financial officer of Fluid-igm, a company that manufactures biotechnology fluids and glass. "I'm not a biologist I've sjient my career in semiconductors. I am learning about biology and chemistry but I'm in the process." Delteur joined Fluidigm in January. He was previously the CFO for Topspin Communications and before that he spent 20 years at Intel Corp.

(INTO. When he left Intel he was general manager of new business investments, responsible for corporate venturing. DeLateur said working with semiconductors at Intel prepared him to work with Fluidigm's technology. "A semiconductor uses a manufactured process, but the end result is basically electrical lines that carry electrons. This is very similar except it's an integrated conductor that carries fluids," DeLateur explained.
