Leslie (USN 67, of 369 Heritage Drive, Gettysburg, died Thursday, April 18, at The Gettysburg Hospital. Born May 13, 1928, in Rochester, New York, he was the son of the late Harold William and Ruth Hilda Sanders Leslie. He was a member of Salem Methodist Church, Gettysburg. He was a veteran of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, serving in the U.S. Navy as a Sr.

Petty Officer, and retired after 21 years of service. He was employed by Sears as a shipping and receiving manager for 14 years. He was promoted to Assistant Manager of Sears Retail Distribution Center in Gaithersburg until he retired in 1987. From 1988-1992, he was employed by the Adams County Prison as Sergeant of Corrections Officers. He had been a past member of the Security Force at Lake Heritage.

He was a member of the Camp Elks Lodge. He was a member of the VFW Post 15 Gettysburg, the Albert Lentz American Legion Post 202, the Fleet Reserve Association of Washington, the British Postal Philatelic and the United Nations Philatelic Association. He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Foster Leslie; six children, Michael Barstow of Hanover, Steven Leslie, Sherri Osbom, Shawn Austin, Sharon Arena and Susan Leslie, all of Webster, N.Y., and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, 2 p.m.

at the Monahan Funeral Home, Gettysburg with the Rev George Hummer officiating. The family will receive friends at the Monahan Funeral Home on Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Interment with full military honors will be held Wednesday, May 1, at 2 p.m. in Arlington National Cemetery.

Glenn Benchoff, 85, of 2376 Iron Springs Road, Fairfield, died Tuesday, April 16, at his home. Born Oct. 10, 1910 in Hamiltonban Township, Adams County, he was the son of the late Daniel and Janie Mickley Benchoff.

He was predeceased by his wife, Geneva Kauffman, who died in 1993. Mr. Benchoff was employed by the Waynesboro VFW and the Moose Lodge He was a member of the Moose Lodge and VFW of Waynesboro and the American Legion of Cascade, Md. Mr. Benchoff is survived by one brother, Mickley Benchoff of Fairfield, and one sister, Elizabeth Hinkle of Gettysburg.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m. at the Monahan Funeral Home, 27 E. Mam St, Fairfield, with the Rev. Joyce M. Shutt officiating.

Interment will be in the Fairfield Union Cemetery Friends may call the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Edwin A. Rotz Edwin A. Rotz, 84, of 13099 Mountain Road, Orrstown, died Tuesday, April 16, at his home.

Born August 26, 1911, in Southampton Township, Franklin County, he was a son of the late Alonza and Rhoda Beltz Rotz. Mr. Rotz was married to Gretna Myers Rotz, who died Oct. 17, 1988. Mr.

Rotz retired from Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg. He was member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, Newburg, and the Durff-Kuhn VFW Post 6168, Shippensburg. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II. Prior to World War II, he had served an enlistment in the United States Army. He is survived by one son, Ronald E.

Rotz Sr. of Gettysburg; four daughters, Peggy J. Baker of Spring Run, Patsy H. Swanger of Perkiomenville, Bonnie R. Rohrbach of Camden, and Pamela E.

Sites of Orrstown; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lester Rotz and Eugene Rotz, both of Shippensburg, and one sister, Ruth Brenize of Newburg. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 19, 11 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Shippensburg, with the Rev. Earl F. Barrick officiating.

Interment will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Greene Township. Friends may call the funeral home Thursday, from 7 to 9 p.m. Graveside military services will be conducted by the Shippensburg VFW and the American Legion Posts. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 225 E. King Chambersburg, Pa.

17201. Glenn A. Diehl, Sr. Glenn A. Diehl, 68, of 248 Newville Road, Shippensburg, died Thursday, April 18, in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.

Born January 11, 1928, in Letterkenny Township, Franklin County, he was the son of the and Clara Beltz Diehl. He. was in death: by his, j.Mary Forrester Diehl, who died May 27,1995. He was a retired self-employed truck driver and worked number of years for Kuhn's Transportation, Adams County. He attended the Upper Strasburg Church of God and was a United States Veteran of World War II.

He is survived by one son, Glenn A Diehl Jr. of Shippensburg; three daughters, Linda I. Commerer, Glenda I. Rotz, and Bernetta M. McMullen, all of Shippensburg; six brothers, Jay Diehl, Arthur Diehl and Clyde Diehl all of Shippensburg, William Diehl and Wayne Diehl, both of Newburg, and John Diehl of Orrstown; five sisters, Mary Groce of Story, Wyoming, Pearl Groce and Eleanor Seibert, both of Shippensburg, Jane Rine and Lottie Stouffer, both of Orrstown; five granchildren, and one great-grandson.

Dorothy E. Martin Dorothy E. Martin, 88, of 1075 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg, formerly of 24 Meadow Lane, died Wednesday, April 17, at the Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village, Straban Township. Born Oct. 8, 1907, in Gettysburg, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Luther and Bessie Williams Wright.

She was married to Archie G. Martin. Mrs. Martin was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Gettysburg; Gettysburg Chapter Order of the Eastern Star; Samaria Shrine White Shrine of Jerusalem, and Daughters of the American Revolution.

She was a past officer of the Women of the Moose. Surviving in addition to her husband are four nieces and four nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Gettysburg, with the Rev. E.

Wiser, 34, of 1101 Frances Lancaster, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 17, at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of M. Madeline Rider Wiser and the late James H. Wiser. Mr.

Wiser is a 1980 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School. He was a partner in Keystone Graphics, Leola, from 1988 to 1994. He was a member, of the Catholic faith. Surviving in addition to his mother are one son, Nathan K. Wiser of Lancaster; four sisterip Anne Callihan of Willow Street, Linda Childs and Patricia' Kriner, both of Lancaster, and Mary Wiser of Drumore; and three brothers, James H.

of Willow Street, Paul F. Wiser of Lancaster, and Larry J. Wiser of Centerville, Va. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 20, 9 a.m. at the St.

Annes Catholic, Church, 929 N. Duke Lancaster, with the Bernardo Pistone officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman. Friends and family may call Friday, April 19, from 7 to 9 p.m.
