FlllmoVe 8-9421 Naval Band Entertains By Ruth ARM Gilbert Entertaining the faculty and- students of Central Bucks Wed- ncsday. the Fourth District Nav. al Band gave an outstanding performance. Dixie land music, which received the most applause was followed by various marches and football songs, including Notre Dame's. Army's, and Navy's football theme songs.

Chief Temple was the narrator and Chief Ring led the band. Soloist for the program was member of the Waves who had appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show and had won second place, after competing with other members of the Navy. The program was free of charge to students and The annual Thanksgiving football pep rally which was held in Ihc sym. was highlighted by the introduction of the queen, Merle Riebcn. The Majorettes and the Color Guard presented their routines with Nancy Craig and Connie Hay.

At the Snake Dance on Wednesday night Merle Rieben was escorted around the town in a car driven by CB's student council Bud Lake. During the course of the evening the drill team marched and the cheerleaders led some CB cheers, while Students bubbled with enthusiasm. The burning of a North Penn dummy was the highlight of the well received bonfire. The students returned home after an exciting evening, orly to be even more excited at the crowning cf the football queen on Thursday night 'at the Thanksgiving dance) when the clock struck midnight.
