Although the Gorman atable has lost some of its prestige during the past two seasons owing to the indifferent performs ncea of expensive purchases.

Mr. Gorman this season intends making a comeback to retrieve Lis position as one of the leading trainers in the Kestero circuit. Excellent Prospects. The stable this year will not reach any sizesble proportions ss only four horses sre in active training at Con-naught Park. These, however, have wintered so well at Springfield Park and have been ahowing signs in the pait few days of being in excellent condition that "J.G." expects to do well st both the Montreal and Toronto courses.

The main hope of the stable will be Ore. which has shown indifferent form during the past season but haa now Improved one hundred percent Ore, sired by Golden Spire out of Crouche D'Or. is a stayer and a game finisher. Synorix Is the nearest full-blooded brother to Stefan Tha Great while it ia also a near brother to The Satrap, purchased In England aa a two-year-old for 3125.000, but when brought to America never faced the barrier.
