14 Friday, December 12, 1969 No Additional Charges Urged TORONTO -i Mr. tice Samuel Hughes of (he Ontario Supreme Court recommended no additional prosecu-iiiw. i the complex financial collapse of -Atlantic Acceptance Corp. Ltd. in 1965 in his royal commission report.

"But when the Crown looks at report they may find grounds to lay charges that's their job," he told a news conference Thursday, held just after the release of his four-vol ume investigation of the col lapse. In fact, court actions have been occurring periodically ever since Atlantic went down. Mr. Justice Hughes mentioned some at his news conference. In addition, thre have been civil actions brought by subordinate Atlantic noteholders and other Individual creditors attetnpting to recover some of their loss.

USTS CONVICTIONS Mr. Justice Hughes named these convictions: Donald Reid, a London, convicted of bribery in connection with ure Island- Properties a firm loaned money by British Mortgage and Trust Co.
