But when the first of 17 scheduled comics hits the boards in next Saturday's birthday bash at Davies, Bob Ayres, Chip Romer and Richard Snow the Other's energetic young owners will have bridged the distance. Bob Sarlatte and Elayne Boosler are slated to perform. So are Paula Poundstone, Will Durst, Michael Pritchard and Bobby Slayton. "Very special surprise guests" (read: Robin Williams and Whoopi Goldberg, if their film schedules permit) may show up for the July 26 gig, too.
