Raabe, who lives at 1918 Montgomery Drive in Santa Rosa, wrecked his car Friday on the Black Point Bridge near the SO' noma County line and battled of ficers who attempted to take him into custody, according to police. Police said Raabe had a long record of traffic violations and that his driver's license was re scinded in 1946 on a manslaugh ter charge. Younq Estate The estate of former Governor C. C. Young was valued at $382 617 in an appraisal filed yester day in Alameda County Superior Court.

It consisted of loans, notes, stocks, bonds and San Francisco and Oakland real estate. Young died December 23, 1947, leaving one-fourth of his estate to his wife, Mrs. Lila J. Young, of 1824 Marin Avenue, Berkeley; one-fourth to a daughter, Mrs Barbara West of Orinda; one- fourth to another daughter, Mrs. Lucy Glover of San Marino, and the rest in equal shares to three grandchildren.

'The Reflector' Wins Press Award "The Reflector" of Presenta tion Academy, San Jrancisco, was judged the best California Catholic high school newspaper for the third consecutive year at the seventeenth annual conven tion of parochial journalists held at St. Mary's College yesterday and attended by more than 200 delegates from all sections of the state.
