The shores of the St. Luwrence will eebo to the dip and splash of the paddie during the hot days that ore sure! to come in August, when Commodore Frank Donnell unfurls the white and red burgee of the American Canoe association in the big camp on the west end of Stave Island, and formally inaugurates what will be the nineteenth meet of the club, and it indications can be relied upon it will prove the most successful and host attended gathering held in years. There wall be several bundred enthukiasts, and their equally enthusiastic wives and sisters, present at the opening of the camp. for every canoeist is an enthusiast, and in this he differs from the -ordinary sportsman.
