Others named in the indictment were Anthony Giar-dano, 56, of St. Louis; Peter James Bellanca, 37, of Detroit; and Jack Shapiro, 57, of Detroit and Miami. 1 Shapiro was identified by the Justice Department as a former partner in the Silver Slipper Casino in Las Vegas and a former managing director of the Frontier Hotel. The corporation named in the indictment was a Buffalo, N.Y., holding company known as Emprise Corpora tion. Richardson, former president of the Frontier Hotel and also a defendant in the Friars case.
