Bob Wright, owner of" the aquarium where Haida usually performs, says the whale responds better to the music than to anything else.

"We're pulling everything out of the hat we can. Haida has responded before to recorded music, including everything from Bach to rock 'n roll, but he has responded better to Paul's flute than anything else.
