-fc Poor Averaga Good Excellent me triple killings on the devout murderer. The week's news is full of murder but not as full as this week's new entertainment shows. Networks that release these graphic accounts of human slaughter are sick, sick, sick as will be spelled out explicitly by the Surgeon General's Advisory Committee on Television and Social Behavior. Remember what the Surgeon General did to television's love affair with cigarette advertising? Out! National Forecast Widespread cloudy skies, occasional shower or thunr dershower activity, and cool or cooler conditions will prevail in most of the country. Even some snow is expected in the central Rockies.

However, fair and warm weather will be common in southern Texas and in the far western States and warm air will also dominate in the southeast. C51Q-News (C) 13 Today in Agriculture (C) A.M. 13 Children's programs 7:25 A.M. I Want to Work (0 7:30 A.M. SMS-News (0 7:45 A.M.

Columbo, the shabbiest cop on film, is sharp as a razor behind his dumb puss.

His "Mystery Movie" stories (to rotate with Rock Hudson's "McMillan" and Dennis Weaver's "McCloud) are intricately constructed. "Columbo" enjoyed two preliminary outings on "World Premiere" movies. Cannon is a magnetic mountain of flesh; frumpy, jowly, mustached. His personality burns the screen. Crippled and suffering agonizing pain, Cannon disposed of the rodeo killers by dropping house timbers on one and squeezing the other to death.

SQUISH. That was on CBS, "where the good times are." "SHIRLEY'S WORLD" with Shirley MacLaine premiered last night. How did it get through customs? It was infantile, dull, unfunny. Miss MacLaine played a photojournalist concocting ruses to interview Sir Harold Somebody. She handled the role as though she were auditioning for "Madame and unhappy about it.

The chemistry, as they say, was wrong. "The Man and The City" with Anthony Quinn premiered with an adoption story that was totally predictable right down to the last emotional tear drops when a judge awarded a normal little boy to a deaf and mute couple. Quinn is a commanding figure but last night he had practically nothing to command. Story was better than Qiunn's two-hour "pilot" but not enough better. rf' i I I I I I -1 4 I 1 ill i I i V.V Vancouver Winnipeg PC 57 41 PAN AMERICAN STATIONS Bermuda PC 8S 73 He.mosillo PC 102 75 Mazatlan CY 88 Mexico City CY 70 55" Monterrey PC 90 70 Nassau PC 90 73 Veracruz PC 90 73 gj The Flintstones (0 6:30 I Dream of Jeannie (0, (rerun) 310-News (0 Clear CY Cloudy PC- Partly Cloudy Rain Fog SM Smog SK Smoke Snow Haze (4)BNews (C), John Chancellor (D 10 Where the Heart Is (C) (5)-News (C), Walter Cronkite iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiHiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiNHiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiniiiiiiiiiiniiiiiiiiiniiiiiiiiiiiiniiiiiiiiiiN and her shiftless son (premiere) (5 "Harper" (0 Qrj1M3 Longstreet (0, blinded insurance investigator (James Franciscus) uses his wits to solve complex cases.
