Purpose of the workshop, according to Connie Tate, the Bermudian Springs FBLA advisor, is to provide leadership training and to prepare programs of activities for the school year. A former resident of Chambersburg R. 8, she was a native of Sabillasville, Md. and a daughter of Tracey and Nora Harbaugh. She was a member of Mt. Mariah Church at Foxville.

80. Amberson, died Sunday evening at the Chambersburg Hospital where he had been ill for two weeks. Born November 14.1899. at Amberson. he was the son of the late Herbert and Jennie (McVitty) Piper.

A farmer, he was a member of the Amberson United Presbyterian Church. His wife, Mary M. Eckenrod. preceded him in death March 20. 1978.

He was also predeceased by his daughter. Mrs. Louise Hoover. September 19, 1979. Surviving are his sons.
